Instructions
To make the meatballs, mix the beef, onions, bread crumbs, eggs, salt, sugar, pepper together. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Brown in olive oil
Remove meatballs from pan. Save drippings for gravy
To make gravy, blend flour into the pan with the leftover drippings on low heat.
Slowly stir in stock and bring to a boil, stirring often.
After gravy comes to a boil, stir in lemon juice and bay leaves.
Put meatballs back into the gravy and cook slowly for 1 hour.
Serve over egg noodles
