Crock Pot Apples
Based on Hungry Girl's Scoopable Apple Pie Recipe
Equipment
- Crock Pot or Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 3 pounds apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamom
- 1/4-1/2 tsp nutmeg or to taste
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Place apples in slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together cornstarch and water. Whisk to dissolve. Add in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt. Whisk to combine.
- Pour over apples in crockpot.
- Cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours
- Serve with redi whip or ice cream

Funny you should ask – I froze them for the first time when I made them a few weeks ago and just took them out of the freezer today! They seem to be perfect!
