About Me
Hello and Welcome!
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a suburban homesteader creating a slower, simpler life right where I am — no wide-open farmland required. From my backyard garden beds to my cozy kitchen, I’m building a home centered on whole foods, intentional living, and a deep respect for the rhythms of nature.
What started as a few tomato plants and a small flock of backyard chickens has grown into a lifestyle. These days you’ll usually find me collecting fresh eggs, tending to whatever is growing in the garden, experimenting with scratch-made meals, or figuring out how to replace yet another store-bought product with something homemade.
I believe you don’t need acres of land to live abundantly. You can grow food in raised beds, keep chickens in a suburban yard, and fill your pantry with real ingredients instead of mystery labels. My home is an ingredient household — flour, herbs, broth, fresh produce, good fats — the building blocks of real nourishment.
I’d describe myself as semi-holistic. I value traditional wisdom, natural remedies, nutrient-dense food, and low-tox living — but I also believe in balance, practicality, and doing what works for your family in your season of life. Progress over perfection, always.
My goal is to help you feel empowered to grow something, cook something, or make something yourself — even if you start small.
Because homesteading isn’t about where you live.
It’s about how you live.
Thanks for being here. Let’s grow together. 🌱🐓
