Crumb Cake
Ingredients
Cake
- 1 pkg yellow cake mix - prepared according to directions for 9x13 cake
- OR
- Favorite yellow cake recipe
Topping
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 sticks butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Make cake. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
- While cake is baking, make topping
- In a medium bowl add all ingredients. Mix with hands/fingers until a wet crumb forms
- Remove cake from oven after 15 minutes. Sprinkle topping evenly on partially baked cake.
- Return cake to oven and bake another 15 to 25 minutes until cake tests down.
- Cool completely and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
